Jane has been a dog owner since age 5 and has been involved in dog sports since 1980. She and her dogs have earned over 20 obedience and tracking titles in the US and Canada.  She has been an AKC  tracking judge since 1994. Jane and her husband, Gerald, currently share their home with a rescued Rottweiler, a rescued Tennessee Brown Dog, and two Golden Retrievers.

Each year for the past 7 years, Jane has been a student at the Volhard Instructor Training Camp and will be teaching at The Dog's Camp located in Asheville, NC in the Fall of 2003.
